I went from a microbiology degree to building 8+ production platforms as a self-taught engineer — no bootcamp, no CS degree, no senior mentor. I founded a rural ISP that served 10,000+ users (and failed spectacularly), taught myself to code during the aftermath, and emerged as CTO at CorpAstro where I single-handedly architected the entire tech stack: a 528-endpoint backend, a 51-screen React Native mobile app, real-time AI chat engines, a 17-microservice SaaS tool, agentic AI on 40+ messaging channels, and a 501-million-row data warehouse. I don't just write code — I design systems, deploy infrastructure, ship products, and keep them running for real users.
My journey
The Architect — Chief Technology Officer, CorpAstro Consultancy Pvt Ltd
This is where everything came together. As CTO, I single-handedly architected and shipped 8+ production platforms from the ground up. The flagship CorpAstro backend: 528 API endpoints, 89 database models, 7-layer security, sub-150ms response times. A React Native mobile app with 51 screens and 105 components. Astro Ratan — a real-time AI chat engine powered by Gemini that conducts Vedic astrology consultations via WebSocket. Grahvani — a professional SaaS tool with 17 microservices and 47 chart types for working astrologers. Astro Agastya — an always-on AI agent system deployed across WhatsApp, Telegram, and 40+ channels. An e-commerce platform, a corporate website, and a 501-million-row data warehouse. Every line of code, every deployment pipeline, every database schema — I built it. No senior engineer to ask for help. No team of 50. Just me, shipping production systems that real users depend on every day.
The Proving Ground — Product Head, Genamplify Solutions Hub
After a self-imposed sabbatical where I taught myself full-stack development from scratch — no bootcamp, no mentor, just documentation and relentless practice — I joined Genamplify as Product Head. Owned the full product lifecycle for 3 major launches: from requirements gathering and system architecture through development, testing, and production deployment. Managed cross-functional teams, handled direct client relationships, and drove measurable outcomes. This is where I proved that a self-taught engineer could compete with the best — shipping faster and retaining clients better than the teams before me.
The Struggle — Founder, Bharat Wi-Fi
This was the big bet. I quit a stable sales career to found an affordable internet service for rural India — with zero engineering background. I personally climbed cell towers, ran fiber cables through villages, configured routers, and built last-mile delivery infrastructure across multiple villages in Andhra Pradesh. I was the only person: founder, technician, accountant, customer support, debt collector — everything. Served 10,000+ users who had never experienced reliable internet before. The business ultimately failed due to brutal unit economics and scaling challenges, but this struggle forged me. I learned more from this failure than any degree could teach — about resilience, about building from nothing, and about the gap between ambition and execution. Bharat Wi-Fi didn't survive, but it made me someone who can build anything.
The Grind — Sales & Business Development, IFFCO Group / Dhanhind / Microsites Biz
Straight out of a microbiology degree with zero tech background, I started in sales — not by choice, but by necessity. Drove 20–50% regional growth across Andhra Pradesh at IFFCO, Dhanhind, and Microsites Biz. Built distributor networks from scratch, managed vendor partnerships, and climbed from Territory Manager to Area Sales Manager to BDM in under two years. These weren't glamorous years, but they taught me customer empathy, negotiation, and how business actually works on the ground — skills that now fuel every product decision I make.
